About SEED2STEM
SEED2STEM is an Erasmus+ KA220 project designed to enhance the employability of young people through innovative STEM education, with a special focus on agriculture and organic farming. The project addresses the need for practical applications of STEM methods in sustainable agriculture, offering early interventions that inspire interest in science and technology.
It focuses on youth with fewer opportunities, aiming to bridge skills gaps and promote entrepreneurship in the agriculture sector. By integrating STEM with agriculture, SEED2STEM fosters practical skills essential for future employment in green and sustainable industries.
Project Objectives
- Promote the practical application of STEM in agriculture.
- Enhance employability in sustainable agriculture.
- Create a supportive educational environment for youth workers and educators.
- Engage young people from underrepresented groups.
Work Package 1: Project Management
Ensures smooth coordination throughout the project's 32-month duration, with regular meetings and evaluations.
Work Package 2: AGRO STEM Platform
Development of an interactive digital platform providing youth workers access to AGRO STEM and IoT curricula.
Work Package 3: AGRO STEM Curriculum
A curriculum combining STEM education with agriculture, including hands-on activities.
Work Package 4: IoT Curriculum
Focuses on Internet of Things (IoT) applications in agriculture, introducing smart farming techniques.
